About Volunteer Services
Volunteer Services provides students with opportunities to get involved in the community. Through volunteering, students will be able to build relationships with members of the community and strengthen their commitment to serving others. Whether it's through organized group events or the Students in Service (SIS) Program, Student Involvement hopes that students will take advantage of the opportunities available through Volunteer Services.
Volunteer Services Events
- One Time Events: Where volunteer opportunities are brought to students! These events are planned for one location at one regular time. For the 2009-2010 academic year, One Time Events will be the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month.
- UWT Quarterly Volunteer Events: Where students, staff and faculty are invited to participate in a service project. These events are planned for once a quarter.
- Alternative Spring "Breakaway" Trip: Want to try something a little different? Forego your ordinary plans to vacation and join us for a trip that focuses on volunteering and giving back to the community. Breakaway Trip 2010 - March 23-26! Stay tuned for more information!
Volunteer Services Calendar of Events
