About Volunteer Services
Volunteer Services provides students with opportunities to get involved in the community. Through volunteering, students will be able to build relationships with members of the community and strengthen their commitment to serving others. Whether it's through organized group events or by being directed to resources and volunteering on your own, Student Involvement hopes that students will take advantage of the opportunities available through Volunteer Services.
Volunteer Services Events
- One Time Events: Where volunteer opportunities are brought to students on-campus! Three of these events are held per quarter.
- UWT Volunteer Off-Campus Events (VOE): Where students, staff and faculty are invited to participate in a service project off-campus. These events are planned for once a month.
- Alternative Spring "Breakaway" Trip: Want to try something a little different? Forego your ordinary plans to vacation and join us for a trip that focuses on volunteering and giving back to the community. Two breakaway trips are offered through UW Tacoma.
