Choose a Major
Deciding on a program of study is a big decision; while your choice of a major does influence career options, it does not determine them. For example, what do these five people have in common... Bank Officer, Stock Market Analyst, Music Therapist, Director of Senior Citizen's Center, and Field Archeologist? It turns out that they were all French Literature majors at the same college. Be sure to consider your interests, abilities, experiences, and values and how they relate to college majors and potential careers. Ultimately, it's important to study something that you're passionate about or that fascinates you!
