UW Tacoma offers students the opportunity to live on-campus in a community based living environment. As a resident in UW Tacoma's Apartments @ Court 17, students will have the opportunity to live with other UW Tacoma students in a vibrant community.

2012-2013 On-Campus Housing Timeline

On-Campus Housing Application

The 2012-2013 On-Campus Housing application is available online. By submitting the online application, you are expressing interest in living in the Court 17 Apartments as a member of the University of Washington Tacoma On-Campus Housing community for the 2012-2013 academic year. If you are offered a housing assignment, you will be required to sign a Student Housing Agreement and pay a $250 deposit ($150/refundable, $100/non-refundable) to confirm your housing assignment.

In order for your application to be complete, you must send in a $10/non-refundable application fee to the following address:

Your application fee must include your Name, Student ID Number and application confirmation code. Checks can be made out to: University of Washington Tacoma-Student Services.

2012-2013 Rental Rates

2012-2013 Rental Rates Adobe PDF file are currently anticipated and may see a nominal increase of 1-2%. Final rental rates will be available when initial housing offers are made (May 15, 2012).

Residential Cohort

UW Tacoma will be offering a Residential Cohort for incoming 2012-2013 Freshman students who are interested in a complete living/learning experience. Students will live and learn in a collaborative environment where their peers are not only their classmates but also their roommates.

If you are an incoming Freshman student who is interested in the Residential Cohort, when asked, please check "yes" on your 2012-2013 Housing Application.

Institute of Technology Cohort

UW Tacoma, along with the Institute of Technology will be offering an IT Cohort for incoming 2012-2013 Freshman and Transfer students who are interested in a complete living/learning experience. Students with an interest in information technology, computer science and engineering systems will live and learn in a collaborative environment where their peers are not only their classmates but also their roommates. Students will also have the opportunity to work on collaborative projects and will be introduced to members of industry interested in topics and solutions such as information assurance, data integrity, data mining and cyber security.

If you are an incoming Freshman or transfer student who is interested in the IT Community Cohort, when asked, please check "yes" on your 2012-2013 Housing Application.
