The Orientation staff is pleased to welcome you to the University of Washington Tacoma! Husky Orientation Week or H.O.W. will introduce you to the campus community with the information and tools you need to explore UWT's offerings, access important resources, learn about a wide range of activities and programs, and discover what it means to be a Husky.

Autumn 2014 Important Dates:

H.O.W. - Husky Orientation Week

September 15th - 19th, 2014

Register for Husky Orientation Week

Transfer Student Days - September 15th or September 18th or September 19th

Transfer Students - While we encourage all of our transfer students to attend a campus orientation, we recognize that may not be possible. We want to be flexible, therefore, as a transfer student you have the option to attend an in person orientation or take the online orientation.

Freshmen Student Days - September 16th or September 17th

Freshmen Students - It is mandatory that freshmen attend an in person orientation in order to receive important information from the CORE program, academic advisors and staff as well as learn about campus resources.

International New Student Orientation

Autumn new international student orientation will be Monday, September 22 & Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 9am to 4pm both days. Location is currently pending. Lunch and breakfast both days will be provided. Details can be found on the International Student Orientation page.
