As an urban serving campus, UW Tacoma is very committed to meeting the educational needs of our neighbors who work and live on our local military installations. Our support includes assisting service members and their families who are transitioning to civilian life with awareness of educational and training opportunities offered by public institutions in the state of Washington. UW Tacoma has an academic and career assessment staff member working with the Army, Air Force Career and Alumni Program (AACAP) to assist service members in assessing their career and education goals, and provides scheduled visits to the installation's education centers. Our staff is available to advise our active duty and veteran prospective students about educational opportunities at UW Tacoma and pathways that exist between UW Tacoma and our state of Washington community/technical college partners.
If you are interested in discussing career and educational goals, please contact Wanda Curtis, email@example.com, to schedule an appointment at JBLM. Drop-ins are also welcome:
