Student Involvement empowers students through programs that inspire leadership and responsibility in order to enhance the campus experience.
As a department within the Division of Student Affairs, our hope is that every UW Tacoma student is given an opportunity to engage with the campus community. No matter who you are or where you come from, we hope that the Department of Student Involvement can be a place where you learn more about yourself and others within the community.
Student Involvement offers a variety of ways to get involved. Currently there are six functional areas: Associated Students of the University of Washington Tacoma (ASUWT), Clubs and Organizations, Recreation and Fitness, Student Activities Board (SAB), Student Publications, and Volunteer Services.
Whether you are interested in student government, intramurals and health, event planning and implementation, publishing, giving back to the community and world at large than Student Involvement is the place to be. Don't have what you're looking for...then start your own club!
