WELCOME TO THE UW TACOMA!

Orientation is your first step to a successful transition to the University of Washington Tacoma. This is your chance to meet your new classmates, Peer Advisors, learn about UW Tacoma's academic, social and campus expectations, and to have fun!


Spring 2016 Orientation

Registration will open February 2016

All new students are required to complete an orientation program before receiving a Husky ID card.

Please note: It takes 24-48hrs to process your New Student Enrollment & Orientation Fee (NSEOF). You will not be able to register for an orientation session until your NSEOF has been received and processed. You will also need your UWNetID to register.


Online Orientation

The overall goal of the Online Orientation is to provide you with a seamless transition to the University of Washington Tacoma.

What you need:

The Online orientation will be sent to newly enrolled Spring Quarter students via email beginning Tuesday, March 15. Once the online orientation is completed, students are able to pick up their Husky ID card from the Office of the Registrar Mattress Factory (MAT) 253, Monday - Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.


International Students

New International Student Information Session will take place between 1:45 PM-4:45 PM on Tuesday, March 22 immediately after the Orientation program. Attendance is mandatory. Please remain in the William W. Philip Hall after attending the Orientation for all new students. Fall Husky Orientation Week

Husky Orientation Week will take place September 19-23, 2016. Check back for more information in July.
