Why enroll in Summer Quarter at UW Tacoma?

Summer is a great time to let yourself grow! Take that elective class you've been missing, catch up with a math or science course, or just learn something new. All current UW students are eligible to take classes at the Tacoma campus; visiting students from other schools are also welcome.

Summer Quarter classes are offered in a compressed format so you don't spend the whole summer in class, but the content covered is rigorous and equal to that of a standard quarter, so be ready to dig in and work. Classes are held during a full nine-week term or one of two four-and-a-half week terms (A and B terms), and they're often conveniently scheduled, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful Northwest and have time to work or play.

Registration opens April 21 for current UW students and May 29 for new and visiting students.
