Visiting undergraduate students |
Enrolling in Summer Quarter at the University of Washington Tacoma is easy. Simply follow the steps listed below.
Please note: Enrollment in Summer Quarter as a visiting student does not constitute admission to the University of Washington Tacoma. For more information on how to apply for admission as a degree-seeking student, please see the Admissions section.
Step 1: Complete the Nonmatriculated Student Application Form
A $50 nonrefundable application fee must accompany your Nonmatriculated Application Form. Students are automatically admitted upon submission of the Nonmatriculated Application Form and the nonrefundable application fee.
Applications are processed as soon as possible, but may take up to two weeks to process. After June 1, all applications must be submitted in person.
Step 2: Enrollment Confirmation Acknowledgement arrives via mail
The Registrar's Office will mail you an Enrollment Confirmation Acknowledgement containing your UW ID number and personal access code (PAC), which you will need to register for your Summer Quarter class.
Step 3: Register
Once you have your UW ID number and personal access code (PAC), you can register for your Summer Quarter class using MyUW, the UW online registration system, at myuw.washington.edu. Registration for Summer Quarter 2009 opens May 28 for visiting students and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Some UW Tacoma programs may accept graduate nonmatriculated (GNM) students. Please check with the program for more information.
The Master of Education program admits students to start their coursework in Summer Quarter.
