Alumni

Since the establishment of the Institute of Technology at the University of Washington, Tacoma, the number of graduates from our program has topped 300 alumni.  The benefits to remaining in contact with the school and the former student has been evidenced many times over in visits to campus, a return by some to graduate school, intersections between work interests and faculty research among many others.

One of the common communications between alumni and the Institute occurs between those who benefited from internship, and would like to extend that same benefit to current students enrolled today.  New opportunities are presented on an ongoing basis between former and current Huskies looking to bridge the move from student to the workplace.

Alumni, we want to hear from you and know how you are doing, what your interests are and how your education here was utilized after graduation.  Job opportunities for alumni and graduates, identification of critical shortages of area expertise, coordination of round table discussions and an understanding of the current environment by all parties are of interest.  Keep in contact through the Assistant Director of Industry Partners or your favorite professors, but do keep in contact.  If you have any suggestions, send them in.
