Prerequisites: TCSS 342

Instructor: Dr. Martine De Cock
Time: TTh 5:00-7:05 PM

Covers the core components of computational intelligence: fuzzy set theory (fuzzy logic, approximate reasoning, fuzzy rule-based systems), neural networks (perceptrons, multilayer networks, radial basis function networks, self-organizing Kohonen maps), and evolutionary algorithms (genetic algorithms, genetic programming, evolution strategies), as well as hybrid approaches. Includes lab component for hands-on experience with tools to build applications.
