Institute Open House
The Institute of Technology hosts an Open House each Spring, which provides visitors the opportunity to meet faculty, consult with advisers, view demonstrations by current students of their work, and tour our state-of-the-art facilities. This is a great opportunity to talk with the faculty members who teach our courses and to see first hand what our program is designed to help students accomplish.
UW Tacoma Advising Tuesday
On the first Tuesday of every month, the UW Tacoma campus welcomes all prospective students to attend an advising/information session at 12 noon in the Tacoma Room (GWP 220 - campus map). Immediately following at 1:00 pm, the Institute will provide information about the B.S. and B.A. programs in the Computing & Software Systems programs and the B. S. program in Computer Engineering & Systems.
UW Tacoma Open House
Every third Thursday of the month, the UW Tacoma campus welcomes all prospective students to drop in anytime from 4-7pm in the GWP Atrium (campus map). All prospective undergraduate applicants are welcome to attend the Open Houses. Financial Aid presentations and Campus Tours will be available.
Institute Walk-in Advising
The Institute’s advisers have time blocked off each week to talk with students one-on-one. Advisers can answer questions about the Institute’s programs, provide help with the application process, and assist with course selection. Walk-in advising hours can be seen by choosing Advising on our calendar. Feel free to stop by at any point during the scheduled block.
