Mission
To creatively and comprehensively support a STEM-based academic outreach program.
Goals
- To maintain a multiple-perspectives approach.
- To review purposed curriculum and make suggestions as appropriate.
- To ensure quality hiring of instructors.
Objective
- To meet quarterly, on the second Tuesday in
January, April, July and October, from 1:00-2:00pm, in
Pinkerton Building Room 212.
- At least one board member will sit on the hiring committee.
- Student applications will receive at least 60% of board approval
(by meeting to review and approve student applications on the second to last Monday of June).
Outcomes
- Students will pass the WASL test on no later than the second attempt.
- At least 10% of graduating MSLers, who have been in the program at least two years, will enter
STEM-based college programs.
