Information Sessions

The Instititute of Technology and UWT provide prospective students a variety of options to meet with Undergraduate Advisers (i.e. Open House, Tuesday Advising and Information Sessions). Prospective students are encouraged to attend any of these sessions to learn more about the Institute's degree programs. See below for the 2007 - 2008 schedule.

For undergraduates, spring quarter walk-in advising hours are: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:00pm-4:30pm until June 13, 2008.

Institute Information Session

A Powerpoint presentation will be provided by an Undergraduate Adviser. Information about the the following will be provided:

• Computing & Software Systems - Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree programs
• Computer Engineering & Systems - Bachelor of Science degree program
• Admissions requirements
• Scholarship Information

Prospective applicants will also be able to meet with an Academic Advisor and take a tour of the Institute's state-of-the-art labs.

Institute Open House

The Institute of Technology hosts an Open House each Spring, which allows visitors to meet with advisers, view current student work and take tours of the lab. The 2008 Open House is under development, but the 2007 schedule is here.

UWT Advising Tuesday

On the first Tuesday of every month, the UW Tacoma campus welcomes all prospective students to attend an advising/information session at 12 noon in the Tacoma Room (GWP 220). Immediately following at 1:00 information about the B.S. and B.A. programs in the Computing and Software Systems programs and the B.S. program in Computer Engineering & Systems will be provided in the above specfied location (campus map).

UWT Open House

Every third Thursday of the month, the UW Tacoma campus welcomes all prospective students to drop in anytime from 4-7pm in the GWP Atrium (campus map). All prospective undergraduate applicants are welcome to attend the Open Houses. Financial Aid presentations and Campus Tours will be available.
