Information Sessions

The Institute of Technology and UW Tacoma provide prospective students a variety of options to meet with Undergraduate Advisers. Prospective students are encouraged to attend any of these events to learn more about the Institute's degree programs.

UW Tacoma Advising Tuesday

On the first Tuesday of every month, the UW Tacoma campus welcomes all prospective students to attend an advising/information session at 12 noon in the Tacoma Room (GWP 220 - campus map). Immediately following at 1:00 pm, the Institute will provide information about our B.S. and B.A. programs.

UW Tacoma Open House

On the third Thursday of every month, an Institute of Technology undergraduate adviser will be available to answer questions at the UW Tacoma campus's Open House. All prospective students are welcome to drop in anytime between 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm in Phillip Hall.

Financial aid presentations and campus tours will be available.

Institute Walk-in Advising

The Institute’s advisers have time blocked off each week to talk with current and prospective students one-on-one. Advisers can answer questions about the Institute’s programs, provide help with the application process, and assist with course selection.

Visiting Your School

Find out if a representative from the Institute of Technology is coming to your school. Choosing Recruiting Visits on our calendar displays upcoming Community College visits.

Institute Open House

The Institute of Technology hosts an Open House each year, which provides visitors the opportunity to meet faculty, consult with advisers, view demonstrations by current students of their work, and tour our state-of-the-art facilities. This is a great opportunity to talk with the faculty members who teach our courses and to see first-hand what our program is designed to help students accomplish.
