Overview
Currently, the Institute of Technology offers a Master of Science Degree in Computing & Software Systems.
The M.S. in CSS program features an innovative and broad approach to computer science and the design of applications software. The CSS curriculum draws heavily on computer science, but with a greater emphasis on software engineering relevant to the needs of local and regional industry.
The masters program will prepare graduates for high-tech careers as software developers, computer engineers, project managers, database designers and administrators and systems analysts, as well as for amny positions with related titles. The Bureau of Labor Statistics within the U.S. Department of Labor reports that starting salaries for graduates with a master's degree in computing are approximately 25-30 percent greater than starting salaries for graduates with bachelor's degree in computing. An M.S. degree will deepen your theoretical knowledge of systems and operations, and may help launch you to the next level of your profession.
