GIS Certificate: Admission Requirements

The priority application deadline for 2008-2009 is August 1, 2008. Applications will be accepted until the program is full.

Applying for admission is a multi-part process which requires an application, taking an Excel assessment test, and submission of required transcripts and supplemental materials. All applicants will be reviewed based on the General Education Requirements for UW Tacoma. Completion of a college level statistics course is highly recommended. This can be taken at a community college or at UWT prior to starting GIS courses.
